| 07/02/10 - Woking 0-1 Thurrock
For the second week running Woking dominate the match but spurn a number of good chances before losing 1-0, this time thanks to a 45th minute header from Thurrock's Paul Olima. Thurrock Match Report and MOTM Voting are now online, as is a Merstham Match Report.
02/02/10 - Woking 1-1 Merstham, Woking win on penalties
The Cards needed penalties to progress to the Surrey Senior cup quarter finals. Goals from Liam Bellamy and Rob Carr meant the match was 1-1 after 90 minutes. A goalless extra time resulted in penalty kicks and while Merstham failed to score, successful spot kicks from Jamie Hand, Delano Sam-Yorke and Aaron Gough sent Woking through.
01/02/10 - Dorking 0-5 Woking
Also, as a bit of a catch up as I was away last week. The Cards progressed in the Surrey Senior Cup last Tuesday defeating Dorking 5-0 thanks to a Billy Hussey hat-trick (including two penalties) and two headers from Joe McNerney. They play Mertsham tomorrow in the next round at Kingfield. Also, Moses Ademola signed for the Cards till the end of the season.
01/02/10 - Braintree Town 1-0 Woking
On Saturday, Woking were defeated at Cressing Road by fellow playoff contenders Braintree Town. Despite dominating the match and having the better opportunities, the Cards failed to take their chances and the home side ran out winners thanks to an excellent 70th minute strike from George Purcell. 24/01/09 - Woking 2-0 Dover Athletic
Yesterday the Cards defeated Dover Athletic at Kingfield thanks to a 35th minute header from Aswad Thomas and a 75th minute finish from Delano Sam-Yorke. That certainly doesn't tell the full story as Dover will feel hard done by not to come away from the match with something but it was nice to see the Cards win 'ugly' for once! 21/01/10 - Oxford Report/MOTM and Matthew Wright
The Match Report and MOTM Voting for the defeat at Oxford on Tuesday are now online and there is the good news that Matthew Wright joins back on loan till the end of the season.
