11/06/09 - Some More Player News
The Cards have added two new players to the squad for the new season. Defender/Midfielder Sam Sloma, previously of Chelmsford and Dagenham, signs on a one-year deal as does ex-Card midfielder Jerome Maledon, who re-joins the club after a season with Basingstoke Town. Also, there is confirmation that Giuseppe Sole has signed a one-year deal with the club. You can hear an interview with him here.

06/05/09 - More Player News
Right here goes. The following players have decided to leave Woking FC: Danny Bunce, Tom Hutchinson, Bradley Quamina and Paul Lorraine (who has gone to AFC Wimbledon). However, four new players have agrred terms: Harry Arter (from Charlton Athletic), Aswad Thomas (also from Charlton), Tony Sinclair (from Welling) and ex-Woking defender Jon Boardman (from Dagenham). Also, midfielder Mark Ricketts (previously of Ebbsfleet United) has signed, subject to a medical. Also, David Taylor has resigned as chairman.

26/05/09 - Player News
Graham Baker has agreed terms with Giuseppe Sole, Delano Sam-Yorke, Daniel Sintim, Joe McNerny and Charlie Moone for next season. He is still in negotiations with Tom Hutchinson, Paul Lorraine, Danny Bunce, Bradley Quamina and Ross Worner. All other players have left the club one way or another.

10/05/09 - Ashford Town (Middlesex) 3 Woking 2
The Cards were defeated in the Surrey Senior Cup final on Tuesday, 5th May when Ashford Town (Middlesex) came from behind to win 3-2. Ashford took the lead in the first half but Charlie Moone equalised for the Woking before Giuseppe Sole blasted in a free kick to give them a second half lead. However, two goals in the last 20 minutes gave Ashford victory. 26/04/09 - Rushden & Diamonds 3 Woking 1
The Cards were defeated by Rushden & Diamonds at Nene Park in their last match of a seventeen year stay in the Conference. Robert Wolleaston put Rushden ahead after just six minutes but Michael Kamara headed in an equaliser four minutes later. A 35th minute header from Michael Rankine and a 50th minute deflected strike from Jake Beecroft gave the home side the win.
