Profile:

Canham left the Cards in 2005 and has since played for Farnborough Town, Grays Athletic and Thurrock.

Scott Canham arrived at Kingfield on loan from Leyton Orient in March 2003 and his impact was immediate and impressive. So much so, Cards fans clamouring for the return of Geoff Pitcher forgot he even existed.

Scott started out as a trainee at West Ham and other previous clubs include Chesham United, Brentford and Torquay United. After scoring in Woking's vital final game of 2002/2003 he signed a permanent contract in May 2003.

Combative, neat and tidy, he is able to spot - and deliver - an exquisite pass, and he knows how to shoot too. He has captained the side on occasions and the fact that players of his quality are forced to battle for a place in the starting line-up pays testament to how much our midfield has improved in recent seasons.
