Prediction League
Rules, Scoring System and How to Enter
Cardsboard poster Robbie is running Cardsweb Prediction League for the 2009/10 season.
Points are awarded for each match using the following scoring system:
- Correct Result i.e. Woking win, lose, draw - 5 points
- Correct Score for Woking - 3 points
- Correct Score for Opposition - 2 points
- For Every Correct Goalscorer - 1 point
This will be for games in the Blue Square South, FA Cup and FA Trophy but not for Surrey Senior Cup games.
Predictions can be made up until kick off time, these are normally 3pm for Saturday matches and 7.45pm for weekday matches.
To make things a little more interesting and to keep the interest going for late starters, there will be a first half and
a second half of the season (the divide will be at the end of the year) and there will always be a points per game average
table, you must have predicted at least 50% of the games to qualify for this.
You can enter by posting your prediction on cardsboard under an
authenticated username although please make it clear that it is regarding a prediction e.g. having the title as "Prediction League".
If you wish to change your username during the season, please make it clear if you want to keep your previous scores for the new username.
You can also e-mail your predictions to Rob at rob-lavender@live.com or via the contact page.
If you have any other questions please use the contact page.
Good luck!
